Health & Safety Representatives
Duration: 1 day (8 hours)
The Occupational Health & Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) requires that the employer makes provision for the availability of Health and Safety Representatives in the workplace, to ensure that potential hazards, risks and dangers are identified and dealt with before they become a reality and that the appropriate steps are taken to ensure that there is no recurrence.
Through the HASREP course, company personnel learn about their roles and functions within the Health & Safety system, the responsibilities of employers and employees and the synergy required to work together to make a healthy and safe working environment for all.
