First Aid Level 1:
Basic Emergency Care
Duration: 18 hours (50% practical, 50% theory)
Certificate valid for 3 years
This course is the basic first aid requirement in industry as legislated by the Department of Labour through the OHS Act.
Following successful completion a practical/oral evaluation at the end of this course, the student will be capable of dealing with most emergency situations, whether at work or at home. Students will find this course helps to produce the personal confidence to take the first step to help in times of need.
