Instructor Course – Train the Trainer
Duration: 40 hours (5 days)
We are putting all further Instructor Training courses on hold, in order to upgrade them and bring them into Unit Standard Alignment for our HWSETA accreditation.
Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Not simply aimed at first aid course presentation only, the Instructor (Train the Trainer) course helps individuals in confident presentation and public speaking in general. This 40 hour course takes the trainee through preparation of the presenter and personal confidence development, to the structure of course development and practical presentation.
Should you wish to attend the course in order to present First Aid Training classes, you would need to have previously attained at least a Level 3 First Aid Certificate. You need to be trained in a Level of First Aid one degree higher than what you intend to teach. (For example, someone with a First Aid Level 3 Qualification would be able to teach First Aid Levels 1 and 2.)
Through purchasing the FIRSTRAC ™ Level 1 (1 & 2 combined) training kit through our associates, INTRA, and having in-house facilitators to conduct the training, guidelines are also included to assist your company in approaching the Dept of Labour to become a registered first aid training provider for your own personnel.
